Hallettsville Texas is the place where the best fiddlers in the world (Texas Fiddlers' are the best in the world) compete for the coveted title of Texas State Champion Fiddler.

THURSDAY, APRIL 26th
JAM SESSION

Fiddler Jam
outside of the hall

Jam Session begins at 6:00 p.m. and is under the outside pavilion.
Bring your fiddle or guitar as this is a huge jam session where everyone who wants to get up on stage and perform are more then welcome to. It is a lot of fun and is free of charge. 

FRIDAY NIGHT, APRIL 27th
beginning at 6:30 p.m.

NEW DAY and TIME  For Seniors Fiddle Contest

6:30 p.m.   Senior Division   (65 and over) – Prize money awarded to the top 10 contestants, with a First Prize of $300 

plus more  fun

Freshmen Division (Ages 11-15 )  

Prizes awarded to the top 10 contestants, with the winner receiving a handmade fiddle donated by award-winning fiddle maker Forrest H. Craig.

 

Fiddlers Frolics Prizes

Approx. 12:30 Gone To Texas Contest

prize money awarded to the top 20 contestants, with a First Prize of $1,400.
